The Colt South East Asia team operates in a highly diverse and competitive environment, serving a vast region of very dynamic markets. We asked Sharan Pinto, who leads the team, what are the strengths that make it stand out from the competition.
“First of all we have excellent products and technical expertise: these provide the foundation upon which we offer our customers strong project management capability. This is what really distinguishes us from other players in the market.
“Typically our project managers each have around 10 years’ experience. As a rule they will hold a degree in their field of expertise and are certified to BCA’s Workplace Health and Safety Guidelines.
“Our core approach is to work closely with the client and to ensure that the execution of any project is brought to a satisfactory completion despite the most demanding schedule. This means that our project managers work round the clock when it is necessary to meet a client’s urgent requirement. The scope of our work includes engaging with Government authorities to process necessary approvals, and given our in-house knowledge and expertise advising our clients to provide solutions on site as and when they arise. Lastly, we give our installation sub-contractors good technical training so as to ensure the system installed complies with industry standards.
“The way we work side by side with our clients results in long term relationships overall – this is proven by the fact that over 50 percent of our client base are repeat customers!”
Head of Operations Antony Selveraj, who has over 20 years’ experience in the industry, highlighted the strengths that he believes make his team outstanding:
